Teletrac Navman has agreed a new strategic partnership with logistics and delivery software business Stream.

The partnership will see Teletrac Navman integrate its telematics data with Stream’s logistics and compliance products. This, says Teletrac, will provide transport and logistics operators with an end-to-end solution, enabling them to manage everything from job dispatch and completion, vehicle and equipment inspection and maintenance, to monitoring everything to do with driver performance.

Customers of the partnership will be empowered to become more operationally efficient, reduce costs to enable reinvestment, save time and resource, and improve customer service, it said.

More specifically, Teletrac Navman’s telematics data will also help operators to improve driver behaviour on the road, better protect their high-value assets, and reduce maintenance requirements and insurance premiums.

Peter Millichap, marketing director at Teletrac Navman, said: “Stream is a first-class software business that has developed two very compelling products for operators across the country.

“The synergies between our businesses is evident and we’re already exploring conversations with a number of current and prospective customers who we believe this will add real value to their operations.”

Dave Pickburn, founder and director at Stream, added: “This is very much a partnership that offers operators something more than just the sum of the two parts.

“We can effectively provide them more added value, collective data and operational tools than ever before, so it’s an exciting prospect to take to market.”

Teletrac manages more than 500,000 vehicles and assets for more than 40,000 companies around the world.
