TruckEast Wellingborough has celebrated its service advisor, Megan Rigby, taking the title of ‘Emerging Talent of the Year 2019’ at Northamptonshire Logistics awards.

Held at the Park Inn, Northampton, the night attracted local businesses who gathered together to see the 35 finalists compete across 12 award categories.

The emerging talent award acknowledges talented young people working within the industry that use their initiative to deliver results and positively contribute to their employer whilst working collaboratively with others.

Being recognised and shortlisted for the award was a testament to Rigby’s determination and success within her role; winning was the icing on the cake.

“I’m so proud to have won the award and thankful to have been recognised for the work that I do, by not only TruckEast but also the customers that nominated me,” said Rigby.

Having been with TruckEast for just under four years, Rigby was initially based at the Milton Keynes branch, but most recently at the company’s largest branch Wellingborough, where she quickly became an integral part of the service team.

TruckEast Wellingborough’s general manager Matthew Lee said: “We see Megan as a true asset to our team. Her attention to detail, drive and passion for what she does is admirable and we couldn’t be prouder.”
