Autoglass secures new contract with Wincanton Group

Autoglass has been appointed as the vehicle glass repair and replacement supplier of choice for Wincanton.

Autoglass was awarded the contract following a competitive tender process, which includes windscreen repair, fleet checks and ADAS calibrations. It will maintain the whole Wincanton and Pullman Fleet Services fleet, which consists of more than 3,700 commercial vehicles and more than 400 company cars.

Jeremy Rochfort, national sales manager at Autoglass, said: “We have hit the ground running in the first six months of year, clocking up impressive contract wins with several national HGV operators, which reinforce the strength of our quality and account management capabilities.

“Wincanton is a respected company with a vast fleet and we are excited to further demonstrate our excellence in this field through this new partnership. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Wincanton and Pullman.”

Eleanor Biddiscombe, procurement director at Wincanton, added: “We have a large mixed fleet spread across the UK and required a supplier who could offer us unquestionable service levels across the length and breadth of the UK, whilst providing excellent insight in to the management of our fleet windscreen repairs through their reporting capability. This level of support allows us to focus on improving our operations and offers our customers increased service levels.”
