Maserati has confirmed the pricing, range and specification for its new electric SUV, the Grecale Folgore.

Following the commencement of ordering for the GranTurismo Folgore, the Grecale Folgore is the brand's second electric model to go on sale.

The Porsche Macan rival is priced from £109,905 and the first examples are expected to arrive in the UK in June.

Using a 105kWh battery, the Grecale Folgore provides a range of up to 311 miles (WLTP) and can be recharged in half an hour.

A twin-motor powertrain deploys 550PS, enabling the Grecale to reach 62mph from rest in 4.1 seconds.

Only one trim level is available, featuring electric front seats, Sonus premium sound system, three-zone climate control with rear touchscreen, heated front and rear seats, ventilated front seats, Surround View Camera, blind spot monitor, lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. 

A Maserati home wallbox charger is also included within the price of the car, along with three years of inclusive servicing.

Maserati expects a the new model will resonate well with fleet customers, as part of its revised fleet strategy.
