Renault truck and van dealer JDS Trucks has launched its 'Code Black' customer charter.

The initiative aims to focus on working in partnership with the customer to fulfil their vehicle and service requirements.

The Code Black charter states that JDS Trucks will be there for its customers when they need them, have clear and understandable processes, understand its customers and the needs of their customers, be open in its communication as well as provide the right vehicle, at the right time.

Chris Bell, JDS sales director said: “We are delighted to launch this exciting initiative and to ensure that we put our customers’ needs at the heart of everything we do. We aim to work closely in partnership with our customers, with clear and concise processes and communications ensuring we are there for them when they need us, with the best vehicles as well as first class service.”

As part of the launch, two new 44-tonne Range T460.26 6x2 mid-lift tractor units, with high roof sleeper, are available now for customers to trial on a two week ‘try before you buy’ basis.

The impressive sleek black Range Ts come fitted with first-of-its-kind side skirt deflectors which have been specifically designed for this vehicle and greatly improve air flow, Kuda’s LaserEye self-adjusting roof deflector and air management kit as well as DuraBright alloy wheels.

And no expense has been spared inside the cab for the driver either, as the vehicles come complete with Kuda’s overhead storage cupboards fitted to the rear, leather seats, Comfort Pack and Fuel Eco Pack to help the driver optimise fuel efficiency.

Bell added: “JDS has invested a significant amount in the new demo vehicles in order that our customers and potential customers can experience all that JDS and the Range T has to offer. As well as being a nice looking and comfortable truck for the driver, it is also extremely robust and has been designed to deliver optimum reliability as well as exceptional fuel economy. We very much welcome enquiries from operators wishing to trial these vehicles so they and their drivers can put them and our service to the test for themselves.”
