Cupra has reduced prices by £2,350 across the Born line-up and streamlined the model range.

Prices for the brand's compact electric car now start at £35,085, for fresh factory orders.

The entry-level model is now the Born V1 e-Boost, with a 58kWh battery.

Cupra will no longer offer the Born in a 200PS state of tune, only the 230PS e-Boost derivatives are available.

Drivers can still choose between a 58kWh or 77kWh battery, in the new four model line-up.

Vehicles ordered before 2 April 2024 will receive a complimentary Cupra eCare plan which covers the first two years of servicing 

A new VZ version of the Born, with a larger battery and higher power output is due to launch later this year.

Price cuts also apply to the manufacturer's discontinued models. The Born V1 58kWh 200PS is now priced at £34,125, while stocks remain.
