Michelin Connected Fleet fills two new senior sales roles

Michelin Connected Fleet has appointed Maxime Dupuy to the new role of UK sales director as part of plans to grow its share of larger fleet customers.

Dupuy (pictured) has been promoted from national sales director for France after five years working for the fleet management services and solutions company.

He previously held roles at the car rental and leasing business, Sixt.

At the same time, James Moulds is named corporate sales manager, another new role for the business.

He was promoted from customer experience specialist manager.  

Dupuy, 35, will lead Michelin Connected Fleet’s 30-strong sales and customer experience teams in the UK, with a major focus on securing new business from blue-chip clients running HGV and LCV fleets.

“It’s an exciting time for Michelin Connected Fleet,” he said. “My aim is to help accelerate the company’s growth and reinforce its role as one of the fastest growing, and most innovative, fleet management businesses.

“To do that, we have to provide even higher standards of service by offering customers tailored fleet management tools and solutions to meet all their needs.

“One major focus is to grow Michelin Connected Fleet’s partnerships in the HGV market, while supporting continued growth in LCV fleets.”

Dupuy will be based at Michelin Connected Fleet’s London offices, reporting to Fred Nahon.

Teletrac Navman Appoints Shane Scoville as CRO 

Teletrac Navman has named Shane Scoville as its new chief revenue officer. 

Scoville has a long career in telecommunications, where he has held various positions of leadership within sales and customer experience.

He joins Teletrac Navman from Verizon Connect where he was vice president, global sales, customer success and support.

In his new role as CRO at Teletrac Navman, Scoville will be responsible for all commercial operations and customer facing teams.

IAM RoadSmart names former RAC man as new policy and standards director

Road safety charity IAM RoadSmart has named Nick Lyes as its new policy and standards director.

Formerly known for his role at the RAC as the head of road policy and public affairs manager, IAM RoadSmart says that he brings a wealth of experience to the road safety charity, including campaigning and lobbying the government to better protect road users.  

He said: “I’m incredibly proud to be joining IAM RoadSmart and look forward to being part a part of positive change for road safety.”

Fuuse appoints leading EV charging industry expert as CRO

Electric vehicle charge point management software company, Fuuse, has named Simon Tate as chief revenue officer to further accelerate sales in the UK and internationally.

He joins the team from Mer, where he spearheaded their rapid growth and helped guide the team to bring in clients such as Milk and More, FedEx, Asda and Ikea.

He began his electric vehicle (EV) journey as sales director at Elmtronics, where he helped drive the business forward to be one of the UK’s leading installers and to its eventual sale to Mer in 2021.

Prior to that, he held key sales roles at Mercedes-Benz, Lombard, LeasePlan and Northgate.

He said: "This is a pivotal stage in the EV charging sector as the focus is rapidly shifting towards software and data.

“I’ve been watching Fuuse for some time, and what has always stood out is the relentless passion and drive to make charging simpler, fit for purpose and offer products and solutions that add real value.”

Fuuse has also made several other appointments to support its growth. Kayleigh Sheldon came on board as head of marketing from Swarco; Rakhim Choudhury and Macauley Baker have joined Fuuse as technical support engineers from Pod Point; Ben O’Neill joins the project management team from Chargy; Kurt Sanchez has started his role as business development manager having moved from charger manufacturer Wallbox; and Adam Morrissey joining the team from Clenergy EV.
