Chris Waller appointed chief technical officer at Fleetclear

Fleetclear has announced the promotion of its technical director, Chris Waller, to chief technical officer (CTO).

Waller joined the company in 2008, age 19, and has become an integral part of the senior management team, the company said.

As CTO, Waller will take on additional responsibilities around the strategic direction of the company and help to further establish Fleetclear in the future as a technology company.

Gavin Thoday, chief executive officer (CEO) at Fleetclear, said: “It is very much part of our culture and ethos to nurture our staff members and promote from within wherever possible.

“Chris has been a constant source of inspiration to me and others in the team. His continuous hard work, application and tenacity have earned him this career progression and I know I speak on behalf of everyone at Fleetclear when I congratulate him on his well-deserved promotion.”

Fleet Assist appoints new head of supplier relations

Fleet Assist has announced the appointment of Nikos Kotrozos to the newly created position of head of supplier relations. Nikos Kotrozos

Kotrozos will assume responsibility for all OEM and supplier relationships across the Fleet Assist 5,200-strong garage network, delivering new product offerings and helping to strengthen its existing network relationships.

Kotrozos joins from LeasePlan where he spent more than five years in senior SMR procurement and operations roles.

Prior to that, he was a procurement lead for Babcock International Group accountable for the Metropolitan Police fleet and has been a senior global buyer for Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).

Vincent St Claire, managing director at Fleet Assist, said: “Nikos brings with him a wealth of experience in automotive procurement and operations within the OEM and leasing sectors.

“This investment in our management team expansion supports our drive to enhance existing and new supplier relationships, whilst enabling us to focus on key projects.”
