ChargedEV appoints Felix Beltran to head of commercial

ChargedEV has appointed Felix Beltran to the role of head of commercial to help drive growth and sales at the charging infrastructure installer.

He moves to his new role from his previous post as area sales manager at Northgate Vehicle Hire and brings two decades of knowledge of the daily rental sector and fleet management, Northgate said.

The company said working for the company for more than 22 years, Beltran has gained an understanding of electric vehicles (EVs) and the infrastructure surrounding the electrification of vehicles and fleets and also has relationships with UK businesses.

Beltran will be joined at ChargedEV by Melanie Creedy, the current EV business development manager at Northgate Vehicle Hire, who will maintain her current role with Northgate, but who now reports into Beltran alongside David White and John Burton, the current business development team at ChargedEV.

Beltran added: “Having the opportunity to move across group, gain new skills and be part of the ChargedEV team is very exciting. The timing and the market conditions are perfect to allow us to make a real difference.”

Commenting on her appointment, Creedy said: “Joining the ChargedEV team is a great opportunity to further the progress of what is already a leading charging specialist within the UK.

“With the EV infrastructure needs of the UK’s motorists expanding rapidly in the lead-up to 2030, we are looking forward to ensuring that ChargedEV is best placed to serve the needs of its customers.”

Epyx appoints two new account managers

Johannah Hancox (above) and Natalie Thurman (below) have been appointed to new roles at Epyx as the company expands its account management capabilities.

Holding the titles of key account manager and strategic account manager respectively, they will manage a portfolio of vehicle leasing companies and their supplier networks who use Epyx’s 1link fleet platforms.

They will also be responsible for helping the company grow through encouraging adoption of new product enhancements and innovations where appropriate.

Thurman has more than 20 years of experience in account management, market research, customer success, technology and sales, having held senior positions at AMR Research, Gartner and Serious Games International, part of Coventry University.

Hancox has worked in the insurance technology sector for more than a decade, initially at Powerplace Insurance Services and, following that company’s takeover by Open GI, joining them and fulfilling senior roles in sales, business development and product consultancy.

Debbie Fox, commercial director at Epyx, said: “Good account management is essential to the creation and maintenance of strong company-customer relationships and these new appointments represent a rethink of how we approach this area, with additional resource meaning that each account manager has fewer clients and can spend more time with each.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Johannah and Natalie on board at epyx, and are sure they will prove to be excellent custodians of the 1link brand and products.”
