LEVC appoints Richard Hudson as commercial director

London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) has appointed Richard Hudson as its new commercial director.

Hudson joins LEVC with more than 17 years’ experience with BMW Group, where he was sales and marketing director for eight years and a member of the BMW UK board.

More recently, Hudson worked for Inchcape UK where he was responsible for all retail, corporate and used sales and aftersales within the BMW/MINI franchises across the UK.

In his new role, Hudson will manage LEVC’s sales and aftersales operations.

Dean Leonard joins VisionTrack as technical services manager

VisionTrack said it has extended its engineering and technical services capabilities with the appointment of Dean Leonard as the company’s technical services manager.

Leonard will work closely with customers, partners and internal teams to help enhance its technical support and vehicle installation operations.

Dean will be responsible for VisionTrack’s technical training programmes for both staff and partners, including the development of product and installation collateral across the entire product range.

He will also be tasked with reviewing technical support processes and performance to identify areas of improvement and drive automation.

VisionTrack said Leonard brings a wealth of engineering experience to the role, with specific expertise in remote vehicle diagnostics and integrated IoT solutions for both end-users and OEMs.

Previously, Leonard has worked within the fleet and video telematics sector including 10 years as technical engineering director at Traffilog.

Concept Vehicle Leasing appoints new senior fleet and leasing consultant

Concept Vehicle Leasing has appointed Neil Barnes as its senior fleet and leasing consultant.

It’s the latest in a series of new appointments for the fleet and leasing broker, the most recent of which was Gary Dawes as head of strategic partnerships in February 2021.

Barnes joins the business having spent more than 15 years in the BMW Corporate network, most recently with Berry BMW.

Concept said the new appointments are part of a wider growth plan for the Surrey-based team which includes the recruitment of experienced industry professionals, along with junior positions including apprenticeships. 

Concept said it has been approved to recruit using the Government’s ‘Kickstart’ scheme – which aims to find work for jobseekers under the age of 24 to support the UK economy with recovery from the Coronavirus pandemic.

Palletways appoints new sales manager

Palletways Milton Keynes has appointed a new sales manager, Debbie McKinley, to help grow business in Buckinghamshire.

Previously, McKinley has worked for parcel and pallet network businesses including 14 years with TNT and more recently joining from Tuffnells. McKinley will support the logistics firm in growing the business.

Since joining in 2020, McKinley has made a significant impact on the business and her contribution has already been recognised, celebrating a strong sales performance in her first months in the job, the company said.

Embrace Leasing appoints new leasing specialist

Embrace Leasing has appointed Lawrence Haywood as leasing specialist.

The personal vehicle firm said Haywood has a wealth of experience in the industry and a clear focus on customer journey.
