Renault has confirmed the updated Clio is priced from £21,295 and is available to order now.

It benefits from a refreshed look, new technology and a single hybrid powertrain.

The 145PS E-Tech hybrid will be the only engine available in the UK market, marking the brands transition to electrified models.

As part of the revamp, the Clio has been given a more aggressive, sportier look and debuts a new lighting signature that will be utilised across the future Renault line-up.

At the rear, there's a new bumper design and updated tail lights.

Renault says the interior has been given a boost in quality, as a result of fresh materials. The seats, door panels and dashboard are clad in a specially developed sustainable fabric.

Standard equipment across the line-up includes electrically-folding and heated door mirrors, hands-free key card, automatic air conditioning, full LED headlights and rear lights, Easy Link touchscreen with built-in navigation and wireless smartphone integration with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

The Evolution trim starts the new, streamlined Clio range, priced from £21,295. It feaures a seven-inch digital driver display, seven-inch Easy Link touchscreen, 16-inch alloy wheels, and rear parking sensors.

The mid-range Techno trim adds a reversing camera, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, wireless phone charger, and ambient lighting. It costs £22,695.

At the top of the range is the new Esprit Alpine. It brings ‘Alpine’ embossed 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, Matte Shadow Grey front blade, sports seats with blue overstitching and Alpine detailing, heated front seats and steering wheel, 10-inch digital driver display, 9.3-inch Easy Link touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning and rear cross traffic alert. It is priced at £24,095.

Using an electric motor in conjunction with the petrol engine is said to reduce fuel consumption by up to 40% compared to a conventional powertrain. The Clio E-Tech emits from 93g/km of CO2 and achieves 63.7mpg (WLTP).
