Citroen is now accepting orders for the facelifted version of its C5 Aircross SUV, which is priced from £26,645 (p11d).

The updated model features a redesigned front end with a sharper, more aggressive look than before.

There’s also a new interior layout that welcomes a larger infotainment screen and new seats.

The C5 Aircross is available in three trim levels, Sense Plus, Shine and C-Series Edition. Petrol and Diesel 130PS engines are available across the range, paired with either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The Shine and C-Series Edition trims are also available with a 225PS plug-in hybrid powertrain – offering drivers up to 38 all-electric miles (WLTP test cycle).

Sense Plus comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry and electric folding exterior mirrors.

Shine adds the Drive Assist Pack with Adaptive Cruise Control, Advanced Comfort Seats with Alcantara upholstery and Active Safety Brake with video and radar assistance.

Range-topping C-Series Edition features a ‘Perla Nera Black’ bi-tone roof with an exclusive Anodised Bronze Colour Pack. There is also an opening panoramic glass sunroof, wireless charging and a motorised tailgate with hands-free access.

New LED headlights integrate with the front grille, while a deeper bumper helps to rid the C5 Aircross of its soft, curvy appearance and take on a sportier demeanour.

The car’s soft and comfort-focused ride remains, with Progressive Comfort Cushion suspension. 

A new 10-inch touchscreen is mounted at the top of the dashboard in a ‘floating’ fashion. It incorporates the climate controls and adopts a higher reading that allows drivers to keep their eyes on the road. The air vents are now located below the screen and have been modernised with a new sharp, horizontal design.
