Volkswagen's Touareg SUV can now be ordered with a new 3.0-litre V6 TDI diesel engine, producing 231PS and CO2 emissions of 173g/km.
The engine is available on the model's three trim levels – SEL, R-Line and R-Line Tech.
Prices for the Touareg fitted with the new engine start at £48,995 (RRP OTR) for the SEL, rising to £55,595 for R-Line Tech.
All models are equipped with an eight-speed tiptronic automatic gearbox and all feature four-wheel drive and a limited slip differential.
