Seat has committed to launch a new car every six months until 2020 when it will introduce its first all-electric model and a hybrid Leon.

Following two years of significant growth, the Spanish brand has become one of the fastest growing car manufacturers in Europe.

Seat was named as the Most Improved Fleet Manufacturer of the Year at the 2018 Fleet News.

Its next new model will be the Tarraco large SUV, followed by the Cupra Ateca – both expected before the end of 2018.

In 2019 the brand will launch an all-new Leon and Leon ST.

An all- electric model with a range of 300 miles will be launched in 2020, alongside and plug-in hybrid version of the Leon with a 30 mile electric range.

Luca de Meo, Seat president, said: “2017 was a new year of records for Seat. Today we have one of the youngest ranges on the market, a little more than three years on

average, which covers all the relevant segments in Europe with class leading products.”

He added: “We are a sustainable company and are ready to face future challenges and finance our growth plans.”
