Fleet Management Live was the ideal opportunity for Volvo to raise awareness of the new XC90, which was on display alongside the V40 and XC60.

Visitors to the stand praised the XC90’s new design and said that “it stands out”, according to Jake Quail, campaigns executive for business sales at Volvo.

“It is a lot bigger than its predecessor and if it’s not on the list for their fleet it’s going to be a real contender for those that want a large, luxury SUV,” he said.

“Our T8 twin engine, which is our petrol plug-in hybrid, is going to be beneficial to a lot of fleet decision-makers and company car drivers because it has CO2 of 49g/km and benefit-in-kind of 5%. That will mean good monthly payments for individuals at executive and manager level.”
