ZenAuto, Zenith’s consumer business, will now offer used vehicles via personal contract hire (PCH).

ZenAuto has grown rapidly over the past 18 months, now having more than 8,000 cars on the road. The used vehicles will be sourced from its end-of-term fleet.

Each vehicle comes with a seven-day return policy, 90-day guarantee and 128-point independent AA inspection.

John Tracy (pictured), CEO of ZenAuto UK, said: “ZenAuto is constantly innovating to help motorists drive their dream vehicle. Consumers are increasingly confident in making large purchases online, and our research shows they are comfortable leasing high quality used vehicles. The launch of used PCH is the next step in our mission to be a leading online mobility provider.

“ZenAuto has grown quickly by offering great value and a level of service that sets it apart. The launch of used PCH opens up a new market and gives consumers even greater choice.”

Zenith's decision to offer used vehicles through ZenAuto follows Arval UK launching a consumer-focused used car website last year, just as LeasePlan confirmed it had closed its UK CarNext operation.

ZenAuto attributes its growth to a focus on customer experience, evidenced by an ‘excellent’ rating of 4.7 stars out of five on Trustpilot.

In its recently published annual results, Zenith delivered EBITDA of £61.5m in its corporate fleet business, up £3.2m, or 5.4% on the previous year, according to its annual financial results up to Match 31.

After incorporating the results from its digital direct-to-consumer brand ZenAuto, which the Group has invested heavily in during the period, statutory EBITDA was £58.1m, compared to £56.1m the previous year, an increase of 3.4% (£2m).
