Toyota has confirmed the pricing and specification for the new Hilux, which costs from £22,466 (CV OTR).

It revealed the new model, which features a new look, revised chassis and a more powerful engine, earlier in the year.

Joining the existing 2.4-litre diesel engine is a new 2.8-litre unit. With 204PS and 500Nm, it shaves more than three seconds off the current model’s 0-62mph time – achieving the benchmark in 10 seconds.

Combined fuel consumption for the new engine is 36.3mpg, with CO2 emissions of 204g/km.

Range-topping Invincible and Invincible X Hilux models have been available for pre-order since September 1. Now, the full line-up is available.

Prices start from £22,466 (CV OTR) for the Single Cab Active grade which now features Toyota Safety Sense 2 fitted as standard incorporating a Pre-Collision System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert and Road Sign Assist.

Entry-level Active grade also includes air-conditioning, radio and CD player, Bluetooth with USB, auto headlights and a rear differential lock.

The Active grade is available in all three body-styles, Single, Extra and Double Cab

For the Icon grade, available in Double Cab only, pricing starts at £26,549 (CV OTR) for the manual version.

New features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, coupled with a new eight-inch Touchscreen.

There is also 17-inch alloy wheels, of an automatic limited slip differential, power folding door mirrors, reversing camera, privacy glass, LED front fog-lamps and side-steps.

Invincible models (from £29,158) are equipped with keyless entry and start, LED headlights and heated front seats.

The Invincible X has satnav, leather upholstery and a JBL sound system. It costs from £32,533.
