Digital INNK has launched new artificial intelligence (AI) technology to help drivers carry out health checks.

The new tool allows the driver to carry out and submit a real-time vehicle walkaround.

It also enables the records of health checks and notifications to be stored and made visible through a cloud platform.

Additionally, any service, maintenance and repair (SMR) tasks identified in the health check can be booked to an approved network of suppliers, where garages receive an automatically generated job sheet.

Jobs can also be managed around a vehicle’s schedule.

Angela Montacute, chief executive officer (CEO) of Digital INNK, said: “When it comes to commercial vehicles, it’s essential to keep your fleet on the road. Vehicle off-road time from compliance tasks can impact a fleet’s efficiency and impact the bottom line.

“We’ve designed the Health Check tool within our ViSN platform to be simple to use, and tasks can be completed in minutes. It means more time on the road for drivers and better compliance rates for fleet managers.”

Digital INNK said the technology can be tailored to each company’s requirements with health checks set to a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

ViSN users can access real-time management information and a single platform that connects the driver, in-life services, service, maintenance, repair, tyres, glass and MOT, driver and vehicle compliance and customer communication.

It also allows customers to self-serve everything from repairs to driver compliance.
