Rivus Fleet Solutions has announced the sale of AutoRestore to UKN Vehicle Services and Repair for an undisclosed sum.

The sale comes less than a year after the company’s owners, Aurelius, announced it had bought the mobile body repair firm from Belron International

At the time, Aurelius said that AutoRestore, which traded as Autoglass BodyRepair under Belron, would complement its existing portfolio of business.

However, Rivus now says that, with the AutoRestore brand being primarily consumer-facing, the new owners will be able to concentrate on creating a broader mobile body repair proposition in the market.

It said the sale was a “strategic decision” that would allow Rivus to focus on core fleet management, integrating its LCV and HGV operations and support customers with their transition to electric vehicles (EVs).

The announcement comes just weeks after Rivus Fleet Solutions made the decision to integrate Pullman Fleet Solutions and rebrand as Rivus from Monday (February 28).

Pullman Fleet Solutions, which is one of the largest providers of commercial HGV maintenance and fleet management services in the UK for brands such as Tesco, Morrisons and Wilko, was bought by the asset management firm Aurelius from Wincanton in November 2020

Aurelius had acquired Rivus Fleet Solutions, which was formerly BT Fleet, in 2019.
