MR & S Stevens Transport has taken the first Mercedes-Benz truck handed over by the new flagship Rygor Gloucester dealership.

Sue and Malcom Stevens acquired an approved used 2545LS GigaSpace Actros.

Sue Stevens said: “We were invited to Rygor Gloucester’s open day in September, at which my husband sat in the Actros and said straight away that he wanted it and was going to buy it as a retirement gift to himself!

"He loved the vehicle so much that even though he has stepped away from day to day activity at the company, he still thought our drivers would enjoy the vehicle and the business would benefit from it.”

The couple took out a Mercedes-Benz repair and maintenance contract on the truck to help manage cashflow and avoid unexpected upkeep costs.

Jeremy Price, fleet truck sales manager, said: “At Rygor we are passionate about what we do, so it is a privilege to work with businesses like MR & S Stevens Transport, which has the same ethos.

"I am delighted that the first truck sale handover at our new branch in Gloucester was to Sue and Malcom and I look forward to continuing to work with them again in the future.”
