TrustFord opens dedicated fleet and commercial vehicle centre in Dagenham

TrustFord has opened a new fleet and commercial vehicle centre in Dagenham as part of its ongoing investment in the local area.

Employing 50 members of staff from across the region, the TrustFord Dagenham Transit Centre is the first of its kind to be built from scratch in the UK.

The new centre, which is spread across two acres in Orion Park, replaces the previous TrustFord Dagenham site in River Road.

It features a new showroom, 14 workshop bays, and a breadth of vehicle servicing options, including late night opening to 9pm.

The facility also includes a range of energy efficient features, solar panels, recycled waste oil heating in the workshop, underfloor heating in the showroom, natural ventilation, solar reflecting glass in the showroom, and LED lighting.

The opening ceremony also saw the launch of the new TrustFord mobile servicing offering, which is designed to minimise the downtime of necessary maintenance and warranty work by visiting customers at their own business premises.

With eight mobile workshops serving the whole of Greater London and operated by highly trained Ford-approved technicians, the new service will be the UK’s largest mobile service fleet.
