BMW has confirmed its new electric 5 Series, the i5, will be on display for fleets to explore as part of this year’s Fleet & Mobility Live.

The new i5 will be at the show, on October 3 & 4 at the NEC, before its official market launch in the UK in the same month.

The new electric business saloon from BMW has a WLTP zero emissions range of up to 361 miles and the company has said it has worked on more sustainable production for the car, reducing its carbon footprint by up to 25% in the supply chain and up to 58% compared to its predecessor.

The two-day event, brought to you by Fleet News, is free to car and van fleet decision-makers and offers three dedicated seminar theatres with 18 sessions, more than 30 speakers and an exhibition hall packed with the latest electric vehicles and innovations from the UK’s leading fleet and mobility suppliers.

The iX1 electric SUV (pictured above)  will also be on BMW’s stand on the exhibition floor as the German brand is set to share further details with fleet delegates about its plans to expand the range with additional all-electric model choices later this year.

Matt Collins, BMW Group UK general manager of corporate sales, said: “Building on our successful presence at Company Car in Action in June, we're looking forward to returning to Fleet and Mobility Live this year and showcasing our expanding fully electric model range to a broad audience.

“Fleet and Mobility Live visitors can also expect a special preview of what's to come for the MINI brand, as we look ahead to an important year in 2024 with multiple new models on the horizon.

“We’re very much looking forward to connecting with our customers in October and discussing their changing needs at this important time for the industry.”
