The future of autonomous fleets and driverless vehicle innovation will be on full display as part of Fleet and Mobility Live on October 11 and 12 this year.

Aurrigo, the UK-based autonomous vehicle experts and global transport engineers, will display two of the company’s autonomous vehicles as part of the Innovation Zone, which will have its own dedicated area in Hall 20 as part of the show at the NEC.

Fleet and Mobility Live’s Innovation Zone will highlight the latest technologies and products that are transforming the future of fleet.

All these latest innovations will be together in one area with delegates able to interact and discuss how new developments in areas like autonomy, digital services and virtual reality can help to change the way businesses think about mobility, safety and transport.

Aurrigo’s ‘Auto-Pod’ is positioned to play a significant role in the future development of transport systems within smart cities, eco towns and villages of the future.

No driver is required and the pods offer carbon neutral transportation for four people or more operating without needing dedicated route infrastructure.

Auto-Deliver is a fully autonomous vehicle, first and last mile, home shopping / logistics vehicle.

It can carry the same payload of forty standard containers and four chilled containers that are currently used by the fleets of home delivery vehicles operated by the leading UK supermarket chains.

Miles Garner, Aurrigo sales and marketing director, said: “We’ll be talking about the technology and the applications with fleets.

“Fleets should be thinking about how autonomy will transform the way people and goods are moved in the UK and we’re excited to share our expertise and hear thoughts from delegates at the show.”

Registration for Fleet and Mobility Live is now open and further details about the show, including the confirmed line-up of speakers a dedicated Electric Vehicle, Fleet and Mobility and Benefits Box seminar theatres can be found at www.fleetandmobilitylive.com.
