VisionTrack has reported record levels of growth due to “rapid adoption” of CCTV and video telematics, with fleet and transport sales tripling in 2018.

VisionTrack revealed that the number of fleet and road transport operations using its technology solutions tripled during 2018, and that it experienced a rise of over 280% in installed connected cameras and mobile DVR systems.

VisionTrack’s managing director Simon Marsh (pictured) said: “2018 was a huge year and we are targeting further success over the next 12 months as we expand the business and introduce new product innovations.

“The rapid pace of growth is set to continue, building on our impressive results towards the end of the year.

"This included our two biggest ever months in the second half of 2018, which resulted in the combined sale alone of more than 10,000 connected-and non-connected vehicle camera units.”

During 2018, VisionTrack secured a number of contract wins and established a host of insurance and telematics partnerships, including the launch of both white label and branded initiatives.

It invested heavily in its sales, customer services, technical support and development capabilities.

In particular, the company’s overall workforce has more than doubled in the past 12 months, while its in-house R&D team and developers have tripled in size to assist in the creation of next generation hardware and software solutions.
