Richard Hill named new CEO of Drive iQ

Drive iQ has announced the appointment of Richard Hill as CEO, with immediate effect.

Hill will lead the business through the launch of its new Smarter Driving programme, aiming to grow both the domestic client base and move into the international markets.

As co-founder of the company, Hill has been instrumental in the growth of Drive iQ, currently used by more than 200 companies in the UK.

With a focus on its longer-term vision of safe, sustainable and inclusive mobility, co-founder Nicholas Rowley will assume responsibility for the company’s strategic direction as chief strategic officer.

He will help build the international business and ensure that its product range remains constantly relevant in the fast-moving mobility sector.

The firm has also announced Sam Hill as chief product officer. He has overseen the development of the new Smarter Driving programme and now takes responsibility for both the product and user engagement, in a combined role which will reflect client needs and wants in the content made available.

At the core of Smarter Driving lies a combination of actionable insights and hacks to engage users and build heightened awareness and understanding of risks on the road.

Created In collaboration with experts across various fields, the programme is accessible on all web-enabled devices, initially offered in six languages with plans to expand to 20 languages by Q2 of 2024.

The AI Corporation appoints Piers Horak as CEO

Former chief commercial officer at The AI Corporation, Piers Horak, has stepped up to become its new chief executive officer.

Over the past five years, Horak has spearheaded AI's commercial business operations.

In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the development of the technology that the firm, which specialises in fleet and mobility payments, fraud management, and business intelligence, provides.

Horak said: "As technology advances and the payments value chain continues to converge in line with customer demand, AI is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the evolution of payment digitations by leveraging our cloud-based, industry-wide payments platform to ensure our customers are primed to seize market opportunity."
