Chinese premium car maker IM Motors is planning its European launch in 2025, where it will sit as a sister brand to MG.

IM stands for "Intelligent Mobility" and was founded in 2020 by MG owner SAIC.

The IM L6, a premium and pure electric saloon, is the latest model to break cover. It's due to make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show, next week.

It is expected to offer a range of 500 miles and be capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in less than three seconds.

In China, IM already has the larger L7 luxury saloon (pictured) in its model line-up, along with two SUVs.

When IM launches in Europe in 2025 it will operate in the premium sector as a rival to brands like Tesla and Polestar.
