Thrifty Car and Van Rental has opened two new branches in the south-east of England as it continues its strategic growth in key areas of the country.

The new sites in Guildford, Surrey and Copthorne near Crawley in West Sussex take the Thrifty network to 88 branches across the UK.

Located in the suburb of Burpham, Thrifty’s new Guildford branch aims to be a convenient vehicle rental hub for the local community, while its new branch near Crawley is a strategically located collection and drop-off point just minutes from the M23 motorway and Gatwick Airport.

The expansion of Thrifty’s branch network follows the relocation of branches in Bournemouth, Brighton, Luton and Plymouth to larger sites with better access to arterial road networks.

These changes, combined with a network of branches located close to UK businesses, said Thrifty, enables it to typically provide vehicles in less than four hours from delivery when necessary.

Martin Wilson, managing director of Thrifty Car and Van Rental UK, said: “We have continued to see strong demand for our mobility solutions in the South East of England in recent years, which has led us to open new sites in Guildford and Crawley.

“These new branches allow us to serve their local communities more quickly and continue to build Thrifty’s reputation for exceptional and flexible service.”
