Technology firm, Digital INNK, has launched a new tool to help fleets streamline the management of suppliers.

The new e-contract tool allows fleets to create and authorise contracts online. The company said it will help fleets and suppliers improve levels of automation and accuracy to help reduce the amount of time the process takes by 15%.

Digital INNK said the tool allows fleets and suppliers to create rates, discounts, and other commercial structures within a safe online environment.

Once approved by both parties, it brings the elements into real-time and ensures everyone from the service advisor within the network to maintenance controllers are receiving the correct information through the platform, the company said.

Angela Montacute, chief executive officer at Digital INNK, said: “The e-contract tool creates a new way of working that generates significant time savings and ensures important data is shared within a secure digital platform.

“In addition, it will reduce the number of interactions and discrepancies between fleets and suppliers to create a more efficient administrative process.”

The e-commerce tool sits within Digital INNK’s ViSN platform, which uses data management and self-service technology to enable checks to be undertaken.

Digital INNK recently announced it expanded its network of suppliers by 800% to over 2,200 sites in the last 12 months.
