Avis has introduced ‘Avis Inclusive’, a new ‘one-click’ all-inclusive rental car package.

The new package provides pricing from the start of the booking process and customers can select waiver options with up to 25% discount.

Nina Bell, managing director of Avis Budget Group UK and Scandinavia, said: “Avis Inclusive is our simple ‘has everything included in the price’ rental proposition developed to overcome a number of common pain-points our customers come up against.”

Auto Windscreens supports the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP)

Auto Windscreens has announced its membership of the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), cementing its support of the industry.

Dave Bingham, fleet sales and business development manager at Auto Windscreens, said: “By being a member of the association, we’re supporting a unified voice across the sector which is paramount to tackling the issues that we face not only currently, but in the future as well.”

The AFP was launched earlier this year (March) and aims to give fleet decision-makers ‘increased voice through combined strength’.

FleetMaxx Solutions opens new office in Berwick-upon-Tweed

FleetMaxx Solutions has announced the opening of a new office in Berwick-upon-Tweed.

The company opened its new office this September in Unit 10, The Chandlery.

Fuel cards general manager, Lee Chadbourne (pictured), will be responsible for building up the team at the new location.

100,000 virtual road safety courses completed around the world

TTC Group have enabled people to complete its virtual speed awareness courses worldwide.

100,000 people completed TTC Group’s courses predominantly in July and August during the coronavirus lockdown, a milestone by the company.

Sharon Haynes, client services director at TTC Group, said: “Prior to the pandemic, we typically delivered courses to around 38,000 people per month.

“The fact 100,000 clients have successfully completed courses during a pandemic speaks volumes about the delivery, the quality of service, and the strength of partnership we have with UKROEd and our Commissioning Police forces.”

IMI partners with BEN to create the IMI 100 challenge

The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) and charity BEN, are encouraging employees and the wider automotive sector to join the IMI 100 challenge to raise funds for the charity.

The IMI 100 challenge ask participants to complete a virtual route of 100 miles from IMI head offices in Brickendon to the British Motor Museum Gaydon, using the exercise of their choice.

Starting on Monday September 28, participants will have three weeks to complete the route.
