Air France KLM has taken delivery of 31 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrids to reduce its carbon footprint. 

With CO2 emissions of 84g/km and fuel economy of up to 78.5mpg, the new vehicles align with the airline’s determination to be as sustainable as possible in everyday business operations. 

The Ioniqs have been provided by Activa Contracts on a three-year, 45,000-mile, operating cycle. 

Activa Contracts has worked with Air France KLM since 2012. 

Benedicte Duval, general manager at Air France KLM UK and Ireland, said: “The delivery of these new low-emission vehicles is a continuation of our ongoing commitment to CSR and sustainability in the UK. We believe that to be truly sustainable, we need to start from within. With the delivery of the new hybrid company car fleet, we are boosting our internal sustainability, which we believe will only facilitate sustainable growth in all business areas.” 

The Hyundai Ioniq is available as a fully electric, plug-in hybrid or self-charging hybrid.
