FORS, the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme has announced the launch of a dedicated “going for silver and gold” workshop.

The new workshop will help equip those wanting to progress from bronze to silver, or silver to gold with key skills. It will also serve as a refresher for those who are not seeking first time accreditation.

There are currently 915 FORS Silver and 257 FORS Gold members, each aiming to achieve exemplary levels of operational best practice.

FORS expects these numbers to increase as the workshops get underway.

The workshops will focus on:

  • How to upload evidence
  • Areas under scrutiny from the FORS compliance team
  • The most common reasons for failure.
  • Detailed information needed to evidence the FORS Silver and Gold requirements.

FORS’ operations director Anne Johnson said: “We always encourage our members to be the best that they can possibly be and progressing through the accreditation levels helps to show that they are meeting the highest standards across the industry.

“In order to help our members better understand the requirements needed to progress from FORS Bronze to Silver, and from Silver to Gold, we have launched this workshop to help answer any questions they may have and to help them through the accreditation process.”

A full list of FORS going for silver and gold workshop availability has recently been released to FORS members.
