Motability drivers visiting the 'One Big Event' in Manchester this month will be able to see a static display of Seat's new Ateca SUV.

The event, which showcases an extensive display of vehicles, is free to attend, enabling disabled people and their families to inspect the very best vehicles for their needs close up.

Showgoers will also be able to test drive vehicles and discover how the scheme works.

The two-day event will bring together more than 120 cars from around 30 manufacturers. A wide range of Motability solutions will also be on display including products from 15 adaptation suppliers and 25 wheelchair accessible vehicles, as well as a selection of scooters and powered wheelchairs.

As well as the Ateca SUV, Seat will also be displaying the Leon five-door FR Technology 2.0 TDI 184PS, the seven seat Alhambra SE Lux DSG-auto, and the Leon ST (sport tourer) FR Technology 2.0 TDI.

Visitors will have the chance to get behind the wheel and experience test drives with professional driving instructors, including the Leon 5dr FR 1.8 TSI DSG-auto 180PS. Visitors will also have the opportunity to test a range of cars fitted with the most popular driving adaptations available on the Scheme. Showgoers also have the chance to talk to Motability Scheme advisors and gather all of the useful information they need from Scheme partners as well as advice from The Forum of Mobility Centres and Disabled Motoring UK.

Seat UK head of fleet and business sales, Peter McDonald, said: “The annual event is an ideal opportunity for those who want to learn more about Motability and what it can do for them, as well as allowing visitors to get up close and personal to the vehicles. We’re sure the Ateca will prove extremely popular for its practicality, its safety features and its technology, but also its styling, too.”
