Dawsonrentals Vans has expanded its business with the launch of a brand new specialist vehicle division, which will be established across the company’s seven depots nationwide.

The division will operate a bespoke fleet service, giving companies the option of renting vehicles such as a Land Rover 4x4 single and double cab, as well as a range of multi-seat, multi-sector LWB (Long Wheel Base) assets. These vehicles have been selected to meet the specific and professional requirements of the rail, infrastructure and highways sectors.

The growing focus on rail and infrastructure projects and the recent government bid to connect the northern regions has increased the demand for new, fuel efficient, environmentally-friendly vehicles that are readily available.

Gareth Jones, managing director said, “We’ve seen a dramatic rise in the demand from prospective and established customers for specialised products. This includes fleets that not only meet client needs for long-term commitments but effectively support short-term requirements as well.

"What is most important to us with this new business venture is that our core values continue to be reflected throughout the new division, as we support businesses and their partners by providing a reliable and friendly service.”

Sean Hewis, national sales manager for specialist vehicles said, “This is an exciting and logical next step for Dawsonrentals | Vans, by investing heavily in this sector we are entering some of the fastest growing industries in the UK. Our focus is on ensuring our service continues to be of the highest quality and is available in associated specification for the required needs of our clients.”
