Auto Styling Truckman has extended its Truckman utility top hardtop range with models for the Volkswagen Amarok.

The British-built hardtop has been specifically designed for industries operating off-road in difficult conditions.

In addition to the new Amarok versions, the Truckman Utility Top is available for Extra and double-cab models of the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi L200.

An Isuzu version is currently in development and is expected to be added to the range later this year.

The large, double skins side and rear doors, which are secured by double slam locks, allow access to users’ bespoke racking and storage systems, which can be installed to create a multipurpose workspace to store and transport tools and equipment.

The doors are designed to channel rain water away from the driver and vehicle contents when opened.

The Truckman Utility Tops’ reinforced roof panel, which delivers additional strength and insulation, can carry a static weight of 100kg providing further storage space when fitted with carrying systems while keeping the vehicle’s height at less than two metres.

Mike Wheeler, managing director of Auto Styling Truckman, said: “The Utility Top is meeting the demands of off-highway industries supporting fleet managers that need to efficiently manage a fleet of vehicles that are deployed across a range of terrains.

“The response from industries such as construction and civil engineering to the Truckman Utility Top has been excellent and, by increasing the range with the addition of extra and double-cab versions for the Amarok, it is on course to becoming the hard top of choice for industry.”
