Tyre industry and road safety professionals can now reserve their free place for the next TyreSafe annual industry briefing, which will be held on Wednesday July 16, at St Johns Hotel in Solihull.

The event, now in its fourth year, will be used as a platform to launch this October’s Tyre Safety Month campaign, ensuring partners have ample time to plan and co-ordinate their own integrated activities. Additionally, TyreSafe will use the event to provide an update on its latest developments in key areas such as part worn tyres and industry partnerships.

“TyreSafe’s annual briefing is now established as one of the must-attend events of the year for many people in the tyre industry,” explained Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe.

“As well as providing an excellent opportunity for members and partners to share ideas, best practice and discuss potential collaborations, it often inspires many to raise the bar even further with regard to tyre safety awareness activities. I’m sure this year’s event will be no different and I look forward to meeting as many people there as possible.”

The industry briefing will see an updated format for 2014, featuring some of the winners of last year’s inaugural TyreSafe awards. Additionally, members and partners will also have first sight of an extensive suite of brand new campaign materials that have been developed for October’s Tyre Safety Month.

The free to attend event is open to anyone connected to or with an interest in the tyre industry, including tyre manufacturers and retailers, vehicle manufacturers and dealerships, emergency services, local councils, road safety partnerships, insurers and many more.
