Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s charitable foundation has made a donation of £12,500 to national disability charity Motability.

Mike Nigro, Enterprise Rent-A-Car managing director of UK & Ireland, said: “Motability provides a lifeline to thousands of people across the UK, so we are proud to be making this donation to support some of their customers with the mobility solution they require.”

Lucy Lomas, corporate & trusts relationship manager for Motability, said: “We are extremely grateful to Enterprise Rent-a-Car for this generous donation.

“This contribution will be used to support disabled people in the UK, who cannot afford the right car or adaptations for their needs, or to help young disabled people with driving lessons.”

Motability’s charitable work relies on voluntary income and aims to raise around £2.5 million each year to help customers who would otherwise be unable to afford the mobility solution they need.

This income is raised through charitable trust and foundation donations, corporate support, individual fundraising and from trading activity.
