Salary sacrifice market leader Tusker is increasing its focus on the contract hire and leasing market with the appointment of two experienced business development managers.

Joining the company from Zenith Vehicle Contracts and responsible for new business in the north of the country is Stewart Ballantyne.

He has almost 20 years in new business development in the contract hire and leasing market in a variety of senior roles with a number of leading companies, including Lex Vehicle Leasing and Lombard Vehicle Management.

"This is an excellent time to be joining Tusker who are poised to achieve great things in the contract hire and leasing market, having had such huge success in the salary sacrifice arena," he said.

Working alongside Ballantyne and responsible for new business in the south, is Colin Lev, who has been involved with the fleet and motor industry for the last 25 years.

Lev’s previous work experience includes 12 years with Lombard Vehicle Management where he was development director responsible for large corporate fleets, and five years with ALD Automotive also working on account management and new business.

"Tusker is a fantastic company with fantastic people and has a great opportunity to continue their growth in the contract hire market," he said.

"I’m really looking forward to this exciting new challenge."

In welcoming the two new business development managers to the company, Tusker business development director, Alison Argall said: "Between them Stewart and Colin bring huge experience of the contract hire and leasing market to Tusker at a time when our aim is to grow our portfolio in this market sector.

"We have seen huge success in the salary sacrifice market in recent years with over 100 live schemes currently in operation and this growth allows us to be more competitive in the traditional contract hire sector."
