Fleetdrive Electric has teamed up with Tesla Motors to offer fleets the opportunity to take an exclusive test drive of the new Tesla Model S electric car.
Designed from the ground up as an electric vehicle, the Model S is the world's first premium electric saloon car offering a claimed range of around 300 miles on a single charge.
Mike Potter, managing director at Fleetdrive, said: “We are excited to be involved in bringing this car to the fleet market here in the UK. It really is the business vehicle of the future.
“It is a car that makes a statement and offers the driver a VIP experience, whilst financially making real business sense. With huge tax benefits and no fuel expense, when you add up the whole-life cost of the vehicle, the figures speak for themselves.”
The test drives will take place around the Marlow area in scenic Buckinghamshire, and will be preceded by a presentation at Fleetdrive Electric’s Harleyford Marina office from representatives from the Tesla Motor Company.
The dates revealed so far are for December 18, 2013, and January 22, 2014, with further dates and venues around the UK yet to be announced. Places are strictly limited. Enquiries should be made to sales@fleetdrive-electric.com.

From a 9 - 10 month Model S owner in California who has driven 23k miles, I agree it is the business vehicle of the future. For me it is already my everyday business vehicle. It makes long days of driving 200 to 350 miles more than bearable, the Model S is a pleasure to drive. I need to plan my day long driving days around charging once or twice, but for me that is a small price to pay to find myself smiling behind the wheel like I did when I was first learning to drive, even when in traffic.
