Online driver profiling and e-driver training specialist, E-Training World, has launched a new on-line assessment and operating system specifically for the Republic of Ireland.

It follows the same proven structure as E-Training World’s UK system, offering companies in Eire the ability to risk assess and train drivers online using a programme bespoke to their individual corporate needs.

“We’re delighted to launch a Republic of Ireland system,” said Graham Hurdle (pictured), managing director. “There has been a lot of interest from Eire in our work, and we’re thrilled to now be able offer companies with cars, vans and HGVs a package tailored to Irish road laws and driving conditions.”

E-Training World’s driver profiling programme assesses risk by evaluating a driver’s attitude, knowledge, concentration and observation, and hazard perception skills.

Used to accurately determine driver risk, it was one of the first of its type in the fleet sector and is now used by some of the largest companies in the UK, as well as many smaller businesses.

Also on offer is a portfolio of e-driver training modules covering a whole host of topics, such as rear end collisions, parking and manoeuvring, vehicle checks, mobile phones and speed awareness.

“This new Irish system will provide an excellent tool for our UK partners who manage, lease, insure or provide driver training to fleets in the Republic of Ireland,” said Hurdle. “We can also offer it directly to any business in Eire looking to assess and train drivers online.”
