Suzuki has appointed Helen Ward as its field-based corporate sales and leasing manager - a new position that has been created as part of the company's strategy to build its corporate sales business.

Helen has worked for Vauxhall and Toyota in the past in operational roles and joins the company from Honda where she was a leasing manager for a number of years, and contributed significantly towards the growth of Honda's car sales to leasing companies and the emergency services.

Helen took up her new position on October 7 and will be responsible for developing fleet sales, in particular the SX4 S-Cross, via the major leasing companies, Suzuki Contract Hire and Affinity Partner business and will report to Andrew Wale, national corporate sales and remarketing manager.

Helen said: "I'm delighted to be joining Suzuki at such an exciting time. With the launch of the new SX4 S-Cross, we are now well equipped to capitalise upon the opportunities present within the fleet market in both the corporate and public sectors. The S-Cross is the trigger car to help us raise our profile and grow our fleet presence and the first in a fleet appropriate line-up of cars due for launch over the next five years."
