TomTom has unveiled the next generation of its reporting suite for online fleet management application Webfleet.

A new set of 40 reports will provide businesses with insights into fleet operations to help them reduce costs, comply with legal obligations and improve efficiency, productivity and customer service.

TomTom says that customisation capabilities enable companies to home in on their management priorities and generate reports more relevant to their individual business processes.

“TomTom customers worldwide now have access to the richest reporting suite on the market,” said Thomas Schmidt, managing director, TomTom Business Solutions.

“Webfleet’s out-of-the-box functionality directly meets businesses’ typical fleet management requirements.

“For companies with more specific business needs, depending upon their size, structure and industry sector, reports can also be tailored, reflecting our commitment for delivering improved business efficiencies for all.”

The new reports and improved reporting functions have been developed following in depth consultations with TomTom’s diverse business customer base.

Selected reports can be generated at scheduled intervals and assigned to specific users. Furthermore, companies can customise reports, modify their lay-out and the levels of information displayed.

In addition, it is now easier for businesses to access historical reports with an archive that stores them in the cloud.

“TomTom’s Webfleet advancements provide companies with greater control over their fleet operations and business efficiencies,” added Thomas.

“This means more opportunities to achieve and maintain a competitive edge through considerable efficiency and cost savings.”

Webfleet reporting will be made available during the course of Q4 to all Webfleet customers across 21 countries, is available in 11 languages and comes at no additional charge.
