He is responsible for helping to integrate major retail customers with the NetDespatch web shipping platform, and for assisting with the development of the NetDespatch portfolio, ensuring that products and services meet the needs of retailers and their carriers in the burgeoning online market.

Prior to joining NetDespatch, Sneath worked for more than 15 years with Royal Mail, reaching the position of head of customer solutions with responsibility for a £500 million portfolio. His background in the mail sector covers all areas from Royal Mail parcels and packets to IT.

“Steve’s extensive background in Royal Mail and his keen customer focus adds further strength to the NetDespatch customer service team. He has joined us at a very appropriate time as we are seeing a huge demand for integration with the NetDespatch web shipping platform from retailers across the globe. In the first six months of this year alone, more than 3000 new businesses signed up to use our services and in peak periods our servers are accessed up to twenty million times an hour,” says Becky Clark, NetDespatch ceo.

“I am delighted to be working with the NetDespatch team. The company is enjoying great success with its innovative web services. Retailers benefit by integrated order-to-despatch parcel logistics solutions that save time and money, while improving shipping accuracy and boosting customer service. They give the retailer the ability to offer premium delivery services through their chosen carriers, giving them a competitive edge during these challenging economic times,” says Sneath.
