Fleet News is inviting public sector fleet operators to attend a roundtable discussion being held on Thursday, April 26, at Oulton Hall Hotel, near Leeds.

This half day breakfast meeting will cover key issues facing public sector fleets, whilst allowing you to share best practice with a small number of your peers.

Key topics to be covered include:
• Cost cutting/cost control – What actions are you taking to meet tighter budgets?
• Safety/risk – Strategies for a successful risk management policy. What actions are you taking to reduce accidents? Including vehicle checks, staff training and use of technology.
• Grey fleet – How do you manage and reduce grey fleet costs? How do you tackle AMAP rates and ensure the safety of your grey fleet?
• Central government procurement and vehicle standardisation – How is this changing the way you manage your fleet? How do you create a value for money fleet procurement policy?
• Environment – What actions are being taken to reduce CO2 emissions? What technologies/alternative fuels are you looking at for your fleet? How do you get buy-in from the board and your fleet drivers?

This half day event is free of charge for public sector fleet operators to attend. It will commence at 9am with a full English breakfast and come to a close by 12.30pm.
