The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has announced it will host the first ‘Ask the Traffic Commissioner’ web chat.

It will offer FTA members and all transport interested parties the exclusive opportunity to put their questions to West of England traffic commissioner Sarah Bell.

It is designed so that Bell will be able to respond to enquiries sent in to FTA which may relate to the range of current licensing and enforcement issues.

As the FTA Member Advice Centre (MAC) consistently records Driver CPC as a query that regularly crops up, it is expected that DCPC will be one of the main topics of conversation during the chat, and in particular, the expectations and details ahead of the September 2014 count-down to the completion of the first cycle of periodic training.

Questions should be sent to the FTA by November 28, 2012 in advance of the web-chat, and will then be read out to Bell on camera.

The questions can remain anonymous, if requested.
