Bosch Aftermarket has appointed Dominic Moran as its new Country Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland, who will take up the post from 1st January 2012.

Dominic moves to the UK from his current Aftermarket role as Regional Sales Manager for the Bosch Group in Australia. He brings with him significant experience from previous sales roles within the consumer hardware and automotive sectors.

He held a sales advisor position at Kärcher between 1996 and 2003 before joining Ryco Filtration as a sales representative until his move to Bosch in 2007. In his new role, Dominic will be responsible for business development and building customer relationships, as well as customer and distribution strategies.

Robin Shaw, divisional director of Bosch Automotive Aftermarket in the UK said: “We are very pleased that Dominic has joined us as Country Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. It is a very significant market for Bosch, and Dominic’s background means he arrives with a wealth of experience to further strengthen Bosch’s position within the UK aftermarket sector.”

Dominic said: “I am excited to be joining Bosch in the UK and become part of a fantastic aftermarket team that I am confident will continue to provide its customers with the best possible service and solutions.”

The move means that Dominic, who is married with a daughter and originally from Chelmsford in Essex, will also be closer to one of his passions – Luton Town FC.

His predecessor, Damion Newsome, who is well-known and respected in the UK aftermarket, has been appointed Bosch Aftermarket regional director of Oceania.
