South Wales-based housing association Tai Tarian has taken delivery of 69 new Vauxhall vans.

The company, which provides social housing to residents across Neath Port Talbot, has opted for a range of Combo, Movano and Vivaro vans.

“With our previous ageing fleet of light commercial vehicles we were keen to source a fleet of reliable, aesthetically pleasing, fuel efficient vehicles that could help us continue to improve our carbon footprint,” said Mair Jones, Fleet Manager at Tai Tarian.

“We believe that Vauxhall are the perfect fit for us taking these aims into consideration. The vehicles look great with their conversions and new livery design, they will serve to improve our visibility and reputation in the community in which we work.”

The new vehicles will be used across multiple trades as part of Tai Tarian’s property management and maintenance work, covering more than 9,000 properties.

Tai Tarian specified its Vivaros with bespoke racking, including a mixture of panel van and double cab body styles.

It also opted for a selection of Movano models including panel vans, chassis cabs and crew cabs.

The Combo fleet consists of panel vans and crew-vans.

Vauxhall were awarded the contract to supply Tai Tarian following a tender process conducted by The Procurement Partnership, through the Hertfordshire County Council Contract Hire Framework Agreement.
