The RHA has launched an online petition to "restore law and order" in the port of Calais.

It wants to put an end to operation stack and to stop the disruption for the many holiday makers planning to cross the channel this summer.

The RHA described the effects of the migrant crisis on the haulage industry, and the UK as "intolerable".

RHA chief executive, Richard Burnett said: “I am calling for everybody in the country to sign the on-line petition at www.rhaactnow.uk.net as every name added makes our campaign stronger.”
