Ast Transport Branding has been re-awarded a three year contract to apply vehicle livery to all NHS Blood and Transplant vehicles.

Following from its previous five-year contract, awarded in 2012, Ast will be responsible for: emergency response vehicles, staff and volunteer transport, as well as a range of specialist vehicles

Ast Transport Branding was chosen for renewal of the contract as they were “deemed by an NHS panel to be the most economically advantageous tender”.

Ast Transport Branding’s commercial director Adam Wellings said: “We’re all absolutely delighted to be re-awarded the NHS contract, I feel it is a real testament to the excellent job we provide at Ast, with national firms relying on our services.”

NHS Blood and Transplant provide a blood and transplantation service to the NHS, taking care of  blood donation services in England and transplant services across the whole of the UK including managing the donation, storage and transplantation of blood, organs, tissues, bone marrow and stems cells as well as researching new treatments and processes.
