ABB is launching a new high-power electric vehicle (EV) charger capable of 350kW.

The third-generation Terra HP is designed for fleet operators and for installation on highways.

ABB says the new device offers an “elevated experience for consumers” and can be specified with a variety of customisation options for charging operators.

It features a 5.3-metre retractable charge cable, a 15-inch touchscreen display, LED strips to improve nighttime visibility and multiple payment options.

The Terra HP fully supports commercial operations. It offers several optional payment solutions, Dynamic DC power sharing to optimise use of charging assets and site management solutions to enable future growth while enhancing grid optimisation costs.

ABB’s Ability Connected Services deliver enhanced functionality, including the ability to easily connect chargers to back offices, payment platforms or smart grids systems. It also provides remote monitoring and diagnostics minimise downtime and keep running costs low.
