Maxoptra, the dynamic route planning and scheduling software specialist, has partnered with Talecom to develop integrated mobile workforce solutions.

Combining Maxoptra’s multi drop planning software with Talecom’s Capture applications, users of the integrated solution will be able to capture, record and share a range of operational and customer service data.

The combination of Maxoptra and Talecom’s cloud based platforms aims to improve the efficiency of delivery and service operations with advanced route planning and scheduling.

“The agreement with Talecom gives Maxoptra users an end to end solution that is proven in a range of industry sectors and applications,” said Maxoptra business development director, Stuart Brunger.

“The power of Talecom’s Capture applications will enhance efficiencies already achieved in the planning and execution of mobile operations by reducing time spent on site, reducing existing paper based processes by converting them into mobile applications.”

Andrew Pearce, sales director at Talecom, said: “Our users already know they are as efficient as they can be when onsite, capturing and recording the information they need in a user friendly yet effective way.

“The addition of Maxoptra’s powerful route planning and scheduling software will allow them to introduce additional efficiencies, and therefore savings and service improvements, in the planning and operational stages of the workflow.”

A subscription based Software-as-a-Service solution (SaaS), Maxoptra is used by some of the largest fleets in the UK and Europe. However, it says it also appeals to smaller fleet operators as it is easy to use, robust, flexible and well supported.

Talecom offers a range of out of the box, mobile applications under the Capture brand, including solutions for proof of delivery (POD), field service, healthcare, lone worker and secure applications. All Capture applications can be integrated to any back office IT system or utilised with the Capture job allocation system (JAS).
